Meet Our Doctors
Samson Lee, D.D.S.
“I honestly cannot see myself doing something other than dentistry. I come from a family of dentists which include an uncle, and 2 cousins who are dentists as well. Ever since I was 13 years old I knew this was what I was wanted to do. Dentistry is an embodiment of art and science, my two favourite areas of study. The mouth is the canvas and different materials such as porcelain and resin are the media. Every beautiful smile is a work of art. There is nothing more rewarding than knowing you were able to make a positive impact on a person’s life.
I am very proud of our team at Havenview Dental Centre that continually strive to provide the very best in oral care. Through many hours devoted to continuing education courses and seminars, we keep up to date on the latest techniques and materials in dentistry to ensure our patients are receiving the most current treatment protocols. Dr. Lee studied at the University of Toronto with an Honors degree in Human Biology. From there he shuffled off to Buffalo where he attended the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and obtained his dental degree. After graduation Dr. Lee completed a one year General Practice Residency at Buffalo General Hospital where he had the opportunity to treat patients from all walks of life but particularly patients from the inner city.
Upon his return to Canada, Dr. Lee had the opportunity to work in various dental offices between Toronto and Hamilton which provided invaluable experience in honing his skills in all areas of dentistry. Dr. Lee continues to perfect those skills and is a member of a number of professional dental organizations including The Academy of General Dentistry, Toronto Crown and Bridge Study Club, The Toronto Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and The Ontario Dental Association. One of the many highlights of Dr. Lee’s dental career was the chance to give back to the community by volunteering his time at The George Brown Dental Clinic for a number of years.
Dr. Lee is happily married and loves to introduce 80’s music to his three beautiful kids. When he has any free time it is usually filled with trips to IKEA, playing golf and softball and making pizza dough from scratch.

Anthony J. Eng, D.D.S.
Dr. Anthony J. Eng was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. He went to the University of Toronto (St. George and Scarborough Campuses) for his undergraduate studies. He then went to the University of Minnesota Dental School in Minneapolis, Minnesota and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1994 with his doctorate of dental surgery.
He is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. He is a firm believer in continuing education and is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, the Toronto East Dental Society, the International Association for Orthodontics, the George Hare Endodontic Study Club, the South Asian Dental Association, and the Chinese Canadian Dental Society.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Eng likes to travel and experience new cultures and tries to stay active with exercise, skating, skiing and golf.
Dr. Sophie Look-Achoy
Dr. Sophie is our associate dentist who joined our team in 2023. She completed her undergraduate degree from Western University before heading to the University of Toronto for dental school. She loves helping patients achieve their oral health goals, whether it’s for esthetics or function, all with a gentle touch.
She continues to learn in her areas of interest, including orthodontics and TMJ disorders, to bring the best care to her patients. Outside of dentistry, you can find her hiking around the world, snowboarding, or keeping up with her energetic new puppy!
Dr. Eric Leung
Dr. Eric Leung was born and raised in Toronto and he knew since Grade 11 that he was going to be a dentist. Dr. Leung studied his undergraduate at the University of Toronto before studying dentistry at the University of Western Ontario. Dr. Leung graduated in 1995 and has been working in private practice. Since graduation, he has completed numerous continuing education courses and he is also an Associate Fellow of the Academy of Gp Orthodontics. Dr. Leung enjoys going on medical missions trips and he uses his training to help the poor and marginalized peoples in Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam and China.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing badminton and binge-watching K dramas.

Gina
Our dental hygienist has a passion of educating her patient’s with regards to their oral health in relation to their overall health. She graduated from Oxford College in 2015. She was our dental assistant for over 20 years prior to pursuing her career as dental hygienist.
With her pleasant personality and strong clinical skills her patient’s leave our office happy with a healthier smile. On her leisure time she loves walking her Beagle and Shih-Tzu.
Tracy
Tracy is our lovely and amazing assistant who has been with us since 2016. She works directly with our dentists to ensure that treatment runs smoothly and efficiently. She keep our office in good order by following our office protocols along with those put out by Public Health on Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) for the sterilization of instruments and the Quality Assurance of our equipment.
During her spare time, she loves to bake and cook, listen to music, watch movies and travel!
Miranda
Miranda is the newest member of our administrative team. She started her dental career about 4 years ago as a dental assistant in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Over time, she transitioned into the role of office administrator. In 2024, she joined our Havenview team. Miranda truly enjoys interacting with patients and takes great satisfaction in seeing them leave our office happy and well-cared for!
Kinsley
Kinsley has over 8 years of dental office administration experience. She joined the Havenview Dental in 2021. She works with great passion while solving patient’s need. She is also fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin. In her spare time, Kinsley enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also loves playing badminton, hiking, fishing, eating out and travelling around. Kinsley looks forward to meeting you at your next visit!
